Who We Are - Beecher Lion's Club
Our Mission
Our mission is to support those in need, improve health and well-being, strengthen our community, and offer services, activities, assistance and programs that make a positive impact to the lives of others.
Since 1981, the Beecher Lion’s Club has strived to meet this mission by regularly offering, assisting and supporting local events and programs.
Our Approach
- We offer financial assistance for those who qualify and are in need of glasses or hearing aids.
- We offer scholarships to Beecher High School graduates who are going into the medical field.
- We donate to local programs such as “Alicia’s House” food pantry, “Frosty Friends” and “Holiday with a Hero”.
- We offer programs and activities for all ages of our community and much more!

Do You or Someone You Know Need Assistance with Glasses or Hearing Aids? We Can Help!
Since 1925, Lions International has been a champion in helping combat vision impairment and blindness. With this same conviction, Lions have also been a force in providing medical care and education to help prevent hearing loss.
Contact the Beecher Lion’s Club for information if you need financial assistance and we can send you an application. Once reviewed, we may be able to offer help with your purchase of hearing aids or eyeglasses.
Recycle Your Old Glasses & Hearing Aids
Do you have old glasses and hearing aids? Drop them off at our "Recycle Box" located at the south end of the Beecher Village Hall's parking lot, located a 635 Dixie Highway, Beecher, IL . We have recycled over 400 pairs of glasses in 2026!

Volunteer
Our amazing team of regular and part-time Lions Club members are committed to helping others and we would love to have you! If you have the time and passion to “give back” to your community please consider joining us. Attend one of our upcoming events and help us raise funds for our cause.
